Oral Health Coach

Product educator

I have been in dentistry for over 20 years. I started my career in dentistry as a dental assistant and completed a degree in dental hygiene in 2005. I have worked in many aspects of dentistry, including academics, periodontics, general dentistry, DSO and holistic/biological style practices. My passion for learning and providing the best possible care for my patients within dentistry fueled my passion for holistic/biological approaches to oral and systemic health. I became holistically certified through the IAOMT and belong to the IABDM, IAOMT and AAOSH. I love the holistic approach, and using a microscope chair side led me to wanting more. Use of holistic dentistry, the microscope, ozone and salivary testing has grown my wealth of knowledge in the importance of creating balance within the Oral Microbiome. My passion also drives me to strive to support providers to understand the importance of testing the oral microbiome and utilizing the testing system in their own practices to help individuals work on root causes of diseases both orally and systemically. My passion for teaching both clients and providers is driven by the benefits I have seen and learned about the value of treating based on science and prevention vs blanketed reactive treatments for disease.

I am so excited to be stepping outside of the opt to provide independent holistically approached oral health fundamentals coaching utilizing Bristle Health testing. Bristle uses salivary diagnostics to generate a complete assessment of the oral microbiota through metagenomic testing.  The test delivers an amazing report that helps drive understanding of the whole mouth: the good bacteria and the ones that can cause diseases and concerns in oral and systemic health. Bristle Helath delivers an amazing report that helps drive understanding of the whole mouth: the good bacteria and the ones that can cause diseases and concerns in oral and systemic health. Helping patients understand home care routines, finding products that help support healthy outcomes, working on stress and whole body wellness lets me give support where hygienists and providers just don’t have time to do in the office. Oral health is a team effort. I want to be a support system for dental and healthcare providers and clients to help promote healthier outcomes. I work with clients to balance the oral microbiome through catered oral hygiene instruction, and work with other health care providers when needed to help promote healthier outcomes.  Currently, I am working locally with Burgies Berry Farm to teach and provide education of the oral systemic connection.  The use of a Hocatt and Hugo, and holistic approach of diet, nutrient and the ministry the provide brings healing to mind, body and spirit. However, I serve as a great resource to find you providers in your area that would support our efforts. I see a value in myofunctional therapy, functional nutritionists, chiropractors and biological dentists to help with a whole body approach.

I am also a product educator, my passion for teaching drives me to help companies like Bristle Health and GuruNanda by providing education on their products. I provide “Meet and Learns” for GuruNada to practices and educational facilities on the benefits of oil pulling. I also provide education on Tik Tok for GuruNanda to help spread the word on the benefits of their pulling oils, supplements and oral health products. I travel to conferences to provide education at the booths on all the GuruNanda products.   At Bristle Health, I help to provide education and support to providers on how to optimize the test within their practices. We have hosted a number of webinars. I am so excited to help them spread the word on why they are the leaders in the market in Oral Microbiome testing. Bristle Health stands out because it is the only oral microbiome test that provides information on the beneficial, the nitrate reducing and the pathological bacteria within the mouth.  We are working at Bristle Health to shift the mindset of “kill it all” to ”bring it into balance! “
